What it is
FaithStackLive is CTC’s conversation-driven gathering where Christians in technology come together to ask honest questions, share perspectives and explore what faith looks like in the realities of work and technology. This is FaithStackLive #01.
AI is changing how we work and which skills are valuable. So what actually makes us professionally relevant now? Together, we’ll explore how faith reshapes that question: seeing relevance not just as what we can produce, but as meeting real needs for real people. And we’ll talk about how to pursue relevance faithfully, as good stewards, from a place of security rather than fear.
The theme is The Open Source. In tech, open source stands for transparency, collaboration and the freedom to build together. Beyond that, Source points to God, the ultimate Source of life, truth, wisdom and innovation, open to all. It is a culture that is open to questions, rooted in Christ, generous with knowledge and committed to building together.
What to expect
- A short welcome and prayer to open the evening
- A 40 minute talk to set the theme in motion
- A short break, then a long open floor for questions and discussion
- Room for honest questions, different views and things that are still unresolved
Two hours, online. The open floor is the longest part on purpose, so the people taking part do most of the talking.
Where it came from
FaithStackLive grew out of the breakout sessions at CTC 2.0. In smaller groups, people asked questions, shared experiences and talked about things that might not come up in a conference session.
FaithStackLive asks: what if the breakout session were the whole gathering? Instead of a few people speaking while everyone else listens, everyone can take part in the conversation.
Who it is for
Christians in technology, at any stage of their journey.
You do not need to be an AI expert, a theologian, a founder or a senior technology professional to contribute. Your lived experience is part of the conversation.
What it is not
It is not a traditional conference, a long run of presentations, a panel where you only listen, a motivational seminar or a theological lecture. It is not a place where experts hand out all the answers.
